-For the few countries in the exponents 'Salon Mondial du Tourisme' Paris, greatly emphasized the huge stand of Tourist Office of Spain , whose size, structure and organization, allowing us to approach passers-by each of the English provinces represented, with staff sufficient in each desktop and inform all who came and marketing material from the best I've seen in recent events. I've talked to people in the 'Aragon Tourist Office' , whose professionalism and dedication I have called attention pleasantly. So, I brought home material on 'Goya in Aragón' , a comprehensive guide to 'Inns of Aragon' , 'El Camino de Santiago' and 'Wine Route' also Aragon . Another province to which I have approached ( to name a few) has been Cantabria whom I have reported on the 'Road to Santiago and Santo Toribio' and then I have offered a spectacular map on 'Road to Santiago in Green Spain: Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria and the Basque Country' ( this map is one of those treasures that you want to keep forever! .) Then I caught material on 'Road to Santiago' through Basque ( like to see is a theme that attracts me enormously ) and finally a comprehensive guide ... 'Santa Pola' in Alicante province, as it will be my next destination: I have good friends living there, I will visit between March 30 and April 9, week to try closer to Valencia (city do not know) and other sites around that my hosts are responsible for teaching. Congratulations then to all local tourist offices, as they have made a huge effort to say 'Present' in this 'Salon Mondial du Tourisme' in Paris and for Spain, by all means commenting, will be a particularly attractive target for the French public because of their known spells and to low interest this year are French popular destinations such as Tunisia, Egypt or Morocco.

-Finally, and as for French destinations, not only have I learned about 'chambres d'hôtes' previously mentioned, but I've found two companies that offer a service very personal interest: this is ' Les Canalous' a company that rents boats, accommodation for two people or a whole family and allows us to make circuits through internal channels and rivers of Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic, Netherlands and of course, France. I've seen this type of craft when I visited some regions of France as 'Burgundy' or the 'Valle de la Loire' and I'm always struck by how attractive they might find a region known through its waterways and I think it's one of the most authentic and original possibilities we could have. Without doubt, thanks to the service recommended by the people of 'Les Canalous' able to perform this dream. To cite an example: You can access these boats with our bikes, touring a beautiful region such as 'Burgundy', with the ability to stop at every port you want on our itinerary, down to earth and through valleys cycling ( circuits vineyards, castles and gastronomy tours, fishing, visit the 'National Park of Morvan', the 'Natural Reserve of La Truchère' or 'Grutas de Beze' ). Discover a place honored 'Heritage' as is 'Basilica Vézeley' (... and classified as one of the 'most beautiful villages of France' ) or see first hand the enormous feat of engineering that has been building the ' Canal of Burgundy' (begun in 1775 and opened to navigation in 1832) and its historical locks. Another company that offers this type of service is called 'Le Boat' , being its main feature has a fleet of more than 1000 boats and 200 itineraios suggested ( in France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, England, Ireland and Scotland ) without the need for a permit for 'driving' or experience, providing only the desire to discover regions and towns in a lively and original. ... Yes, sometimes we can help assist these types of events, without a doubt that everyone can find a topic of interest to us and above all learn about the development of an industry that continues to mutate and expand the horizon of travelers in search of their own emotions.

Quelques Notes: The other two events that I referred in the first paragraph, are the 'Salon du Livre de Paris' ( Paris Book Fair ) in this edition dedicated Nordic authors and a very special guest: this is Buenos Aires, which has been declared by UNESCO as 'World Book Capital' . Developed between 18 and 21 March, has been one of the best events I attended, not only for the chance to enjoy a stand as presented Buenos Aires ( called 'Café Buenos Aires' ) but also offered us the opportunity to enter a world, the issues, which in France is having an incredible dynamic.
Another event in which I participated, this time invited by two Belgian friends who are part of the organization, it is the 'Bed & Breakfast Expo ', developed in the spectacular Cenvenciones Center' Tour & Taxi "from the city of Brussels ... but these two events and the coming in which will participate, 'Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants' ( Independent Wine Fair France) and 4 ° Festival ' Partir Autrement ' dedicated to travel' alternative 'around the planet, I will tell in future editions.
